HD utilizes an AGI Super Sting R8 resistivity imaging system with 112 electrodes. We have used this system extensively in the Permian Basin for identifying karst features which present drilling hazards. Resistivity surveys work well to locate caves and sinkhole hazards. We process and interpret the data in house and in most cases can complete the field work and deliver the results in one day.
